Nicholas Jim
“Growing up under mentorship of a father who is an artist has been an integral root system which enabled me to master the art concepts since the year 2000 when I was doing my primary education.
I was born in 1993, in Zimbabwe from a father who specialized in wildlife fine art. I worked hard, reading books and also getting some tips from one of my father’s mentor; Larry Norton, who is based in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. I started displaying my artwork at the Zimbabwean galleries in the year 2014, after 10years of selling my artwork in the town of Norton in Zimbabwe to the local citizens.
I hold a Bachelor of Engineering Honors Degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe, and I worked as an engineer for two years but now applying my trade as an artist as I feel inspired by the beautiful nature of wildlife surrounding us in Africa and have a passion for art.”
